Since more than 60 years, the magazine VEDERE is witness of the evolution of the optics and eyewear sector in Italy and in the world and is addressed to trade professionals.

Born in Italy in 1953, the first publication of its kind, VEDERE became international in 1971, with texts in 4 languages and worldwide circulation. Again, it was the first international trade magazine in the world.

Since 2010 there are two versions: VEDERE Italia, aimed only at the Italian market, and VEDERE International, in English and addressed to the foreign market; since 2015 the circulation of both magazines is in the digital version and hard copies are available at the main trade fairs worldwide.

VEDERE International - texts in English - 5 issues per year (one issue, MIDO Special, merged with VEDERE Italia) - international circulation to approximately 20,000 e-mail addresses of opticians, shop chains, buying groups (40%) - importers, distributors, wholesalers, buyers (50%) - manufacturers, designers (10%). Geographical areas: Europe 55% - Americas 12% - Asia 26% - other 7%.
VEDERE Italia - texts in Italian - 8 issues per year (one issue, MIDO Special, merged with VEDERE International) - circulation in Italy only to approximately 10,000 e-mail addresses of opticians and chain shops (68% of the total); wholesalers, buying groups, lens laboratories, designers, agents (18%), manufacturers and distributors (14%).

The special MIDO issue, devoted to the most important industry event in Milan, exceptionally unifies our two magazines and is distributed in Italy and abroad with texts in Italian and English. The printed version is available at our stand at both Mido and Vision Expo East in New York.

Since 2008, this is the essential tool for the Italian opticians who need to find their way through the range of brands and trademarks of eyewear and other products on the Italian market. It is sent in September to all the Italian opticians both in the digital version and in the paper version in 12,000 copies.
